Detectives Investigate Homicide in Temple Hills

Detectives are investigating an early morning homicide in Temple Hills. The victim is 25-year-old Jamil Smith of Kennebec Street in Oxon Hill. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On December 15th, at about 2:10 am, a Prince George’s County Police officer on patrol saw the victim on the ground in the 2700 block of Colebrooke Drive. When the officer went to check on him, it was discovered he was suffering from trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
