PGPD Investigates Fatal Collision in Aquasco

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Aquasco. The victim is 54-year-old Dianna Tatum of Colonial Lane in Hughesville.

On November 24th, around 3:10 pm, patrol officers were called to the intersection of Aquasco Road and Croom Road for a crash involving one car. Officers found Tatum unresponsive inside of the car. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition. She died of her injuries on November 26th. Tatum was a passenger. The driver of the car suffered serious injuries.

The preliminary investigation reveals the car was traveling southbound on Aquasco Road, when for reasons which remain under investigation, the car left the roadway and struck a tree.
