PGPD Investigates Fatal Crash in Landover

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal car crash in Landover. The collision occurred in early June. One of the passengers died of her injuries on July 5, 2015. She is 21-year-old Zacuar Brenney Lattimore of 6th Street in Northeast Washington.

On June 7, 2015, at about 5:15 am, patrol officers were called to the intersection of Columbia Park Road and South Club Drive for the report of a crash involving two cars. Lattimore was a passenger in a car with four other occupants. Three of those occupants suffered non-life threatening injuries. A fourth passenger was critically hurt. The driver of the second car suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Preliminarily, the investigation reveals the car Lattimore was riding in was heading westbound on Columbia Park Road approaching South Club Drive when, for an unknown reason, it crossed the center line and struck the second car.
