PGPD to Canvass Suitland Community in Sexual Assault Investigation



Prince George’s County Police detectives will canvass a Suitland community this evening to pass out Crime Solvers flyers with information about a sexual assault that occurred last week. The flyer contains a composite sketch of the suspect. An up to $25,000 reward is being offered in this case.

On November 26, 2014, at about 11:50 pm, a man sexually assaulted a woman in the 2300 block of Brooks Drive. The suspect grabbed the victim as she was walking.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7”, and about 20-30 years old. He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a belt with a large silver buckle.

Detectives will begin the canvass this evening at 5:00 pm. They’ll focus their efforts near the 2300 block of Brooks Drive.
