PGPD Investigates Homicide in Marlow Heights

Updated December 20, 2014: The victim is identified as 49-year-old Shawn Parker of Sweden Court in Clinton.  Detectives are continuing to work to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.  A cash reward of up to $25,000 is available for information which leads to an arrest.  Please call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Marlow Heights. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. 

On December 19, 2014, at about 12:20 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4800 block of Stamp Road for an assault. When they arrived, they found a man inside a warehouse suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim is an employee of the business. 

The preliminary investigation reveals coworkers discovered the victim and called 911. Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
