PGPD Arrests Suspect in Murder of Delivery Driver


The Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide in Lake Arbor on Saturday.  The victim is 34-year-old Louis William Jordan of Brightseat Road in Landover.  The suspect is 26-year-old Brandon Timothy Stevens of the 10400 block of Beacon Ridge Drive in Lake Arbor.

On December 6, 2014, at about 1:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 10400 block of Beacon Ridge Drive to check on the welfare of a pizza delivery driver. When they arrived, they found Jordan suffering from multiple stab wounds inside the suspect's condominium. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals Jordan was making a pizza delivery to the suspect's home. After arriving, the suspect instigated an argument with the victim and then attacked him.

Stevens is charged with first degree murder and remains in custody at the Department of Corrections on a no bond status.
