PGPD Investigates Armed Robbery in College Park

The Prince George's County Police Department is searching for the two male suspects who robbed two male University of Maryland students at gunpoint near the intersection of Calvert Road and Princeton Avenue in College Park.  The incident occurred on October 15, 2012, at approximately 9:30 pm.  One of the suspects is seen in the above surveillance photograph.

The preliminary investigation revealed that one of the suspects approached the two victims as they were jogging. He pulled out a handgun and demanded their property.  One of the victims handed over an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect then ran away.  The second suspect was acting as a lookout, out of frame in the above surveillance photograph.  One of the suspects is described as a black male, with short hair, wearing a grey sweatshirt.  The second suspect is described as a black male with dreads, wearing dark pants and a sweater.  The two victims were not injured during the robbery.
